On September 8, 2023, the 4th ASEAN PR Excellence Awards ceremony was held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Among the distinguished recipients was Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), which was honored with the bronze award in the Outstanding University / Institution in Public Relations category. The award was accepted by Prof Dr Hajah Norhayati binti Saad on behalf of UiTM's Vice-Chancellor and the university.
